The Fitzpatrick bumper is the original shock-absorbing rear bumper that we have engineered to allow safer operation, reduce impact damage, and maximize cost-efficiency using higher standards since 1978. The 10” deep grip strut surface of the bumper provides a slip-resistance step in all directions for safe entry and exit from the cargo area. E-Coating and Powder Coating come standard on all bumpers to surpass the 1000 hour ASTM B-117 salt test. The mounting brackets for this bumper are an energy-absorbing spring-loaded shock. These shocks enable the bumper to withstand repeated impacts up to 6mph without major deformity.
